Express Employment Professionals in Tarrytown, NY has an immediate opening with a top local company for CDL Drivers. This role involves transporting goods from distribution centers to various locations, performing safety inspections, and unloading products at customer facilities. Candidates must have prior forklift experience to be considered.

Responsibilities:

Safely deliver freight to customer locations
Manage and submit proof of delivery paperwork
Operate forklifts to assist with loading and unloading trucks
Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
Check mechanical aspects of assigned vehicles
Perform all job duties safely and efficiently

Requirements:

Forklift experience (required)
Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B)
Minimum 6 months of commercial driving experience (box trucks, flatbeds, or larger vehicles)
Driving experience within the 5 NYC boroughs (required)
Must be at least 21 years of age
Legally eligible to work in the United States
Clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years)
No more than 1 at-fault traffic collision within the past 5 years
Experience completing pre- and post-trip inspections
Strong customer service and communication skills
