CNC Machinist We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CNC Machinist to join our team, focusing on the operation of woodworking machinery and the production of quality custom cabinets and countertops. This role requires a commitment to quality, safety, and continuous process improvement in a light manufacturing environment. Job Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient and safe operation of woodworking machinery, including CNC equipment. Key responsibilities include:
- Operating and maintaining woodworking machinery, including CNC machines.
- Applying a working knowledge of CNC programs and concepts to monitor production lines and troubleshoot software issues as they arise.
- Performing and documenting preventative maintenance procedures, such as cleaning, lubricating equipment, and replacing parts or tooling as necessary.
- Ensuring quality control by being quality-focused and verifying that all parts meet defined quality standards.
- Operating woodworking machinery and hand tools to produce quality custom cabinets and countertops (training provided).
- Maintaining a deep understanding of company product lines, machinery, assembly standards, and installation techniques.
- Following all quality and safety standards rigorously.
- Understanding and executing daily cut lists.
- Maintaining excellent housekeeping practices in the work area.
- Performing additional tasks or projects as assigned by the Production Manager.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in CNC Operation is required.
- Must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently.
- Must be highly proficient with computers and able to quickly learn new software systems.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is considered an asset.
- Knowledge or background in CNC machinery, machine operation, carpentry, or other woodworking fields is preferred.

- Additional tasks or projects as defined by the Production Manager.

- Must be very good with computers and be able to pick up new software quickly
- Knowledge in CNC machinery, machine operation, carpentry, or other woodworking fields preferred
- At least 3 years of experience with CNC Operation
