Maintenance Mechanic

We are seeking skilled Machine Maintenance Mechanics to join our team in York County. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting production equipment, along with other tasks as assigned. This position requires relevant experience in maintenance within a manufacturing setting and a willingness to obtain a Maine Boiler's License.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain production equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on machinery.
• Perform tasks in compliance with safety standards.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of experience in a maintenance mechanic role.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience in repair and preventive maintenance.
• Willingness to obtain a Maine Boiler's License.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Comfortable working in varied temperature settings.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs as needed.

Work Environment

Work areas include boiler rooms, wastewater rooms, production, and commercial kitchen areas. You will be exposed to strong smells from spices and sauces, and there is potential to get dirty during the day with food products. Shifts include 1st Shift from 5am to 1:30pm and 2nd Shift from 9am to 6pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, ME.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
